The New version of Builder's Heaven 1.33 has been released.
An hard work of 6 month long is now terminated with a candidate release that I'm sure you will appreciate.

I list here the new features and bugfix, hoping you'll want to download the new version for you Cobol Programming and... much more.

Moreover there is a better managing of the Windows Registry keys. They are all removed during uninstall process, as the icon on the top would shows.

For old users:
If you have an old Installation of Builder's Heaven,first uninstall it and then try this one.

Limits of 25 uses has been removed. Of course to gain the most advanced features you need to buy a registration license.

FTP.EXE error in receiving files from Host IBM Mainframes

Extra News - a strange bug happens in every Builder's Heaven uses of the "FTP.exe" receiving sessions, when a you try to download from an IBM 3270 Library a single member.

Error: If the original file on the Library doesn't exists it's anyway created as an empty file on the PC destination Directory.
The problem seems to scare just the Windows XP versions with the internal file FTP.exe dated 2004/08/04.

Cause this file is responsible about I/O exchanges between the PC and the remote HOST, it's important that it works perfectly.

Solution: Insert inside the Builder's Heaven Installation folder a previous FTP.exe, for example the version of Windows 2K (dated 2003/06/19).
If you can't reach this file, keep an eye upon the download section on the Site; the Bug will be fixed in the next release version.

It uses the ability to change a list of keywords into dynamic values that were set during the projecting time of your programs.

This option upgrades the ability of the Builder's Heaven Engine to customize more than before the resulting sources code generated, improving its computable state .

BH New Release - V1.10

A new version has been released.

Now Builder's Heaven works perfectly also under Windows Vista (tm).

With the new release comes the new features and some bugfix.
Here it is a quick small list:
- Compatibility upgrade (now works from Win 9* to Vista!).
- JCL (of execution) generated also for Cobol 2, not just for Easytrieve.
- Improvement of the generated code for Cobol 2.
- Synchronized Ftp shell

There also are important upgrades in the resulting source code generated, but they require the registered version.

Download the package from the Download panel, then unistall the previous version and reinstall the product with the new version.

Patching Builder's Heaven for Windows Vista...

Patch for Builder's Heaven - Vers 1.1 - Work in Progress:

Builder's Heaven is under massive debugging for the release of a full compatibility patch, that allows its to works properly also under Microsoft Windows Vista(tm). Take care if you use this Operative System.
There will be also some fixed errors and a general optimization of the code to generate a very good Cobol and Easytrieve sourcecode.
The FTP connections will become more secure and , finally, synchronized to the panels.
About buying the registered version, for now, just try to use the contact page.
